Below is a list of some of the better-known rodeo championships throughout the United States. This page is not inclusive of all rodeos that offer a championship title at the end of the competition. In order to qualify for this list, a rodeo must meet one, if not all, of the following criteria: professional status, tradition and calendar relevance. Brief background information on each championship is included to help visitors understand the significance of each event in the sport of professional rodeo.
National Finals Rodeo (NFR)
