Prescott Frontier Days – World’s Oldest Rodeo
Each year in Prescott, Arizona hosts Frontier Days Rodeo which is considered one of the oldest rodeos in the world. Prescott Frontier Days runs for several nights and includes all of the traditional rodeo events you would expect to see including bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, and bull riding.
Payson Pro Rodeo – Oldest Continuous Rodeo in the World
This classic Arizona rodeo held each August at the Payson Event Center boasts the title of “World’s Oldest Continuous Rodeo.” Old Fashioned Rodeo Weekend includes championship bull riding, roping competitions and family entertainment with live music and parades.
Rodeo Scottsdale
Scottsdale’s PRCA Rodeo, also known as the Parada Del Sol Rodeo, is one of the oldest running professional rodeos in the state. The multi-day event held each spring includes all eight of the traditional pro rodeo events and typically runs for several evenings.
Tucson Rodeo
One of Arizona’s largest professional rodeos, Tucson hosts many of the western timed and roughstock competitions you think of with rodeo. Events include barrel racing, tie-down roping, bull riding, and much more. Attracts contestants from around the southwest.
Roots N’ Boots Queen Creek Rodeo
Combining PROFESSIONAL PRCA rodeo competition along with fun for the whole family, carnival rides, and community events, this Queen Creek rodeo has been featured in a list of small but noteworthy PRCA Rodeos in the area.
Lost Dutchman Days Rodeo
This Apache Junction cowboy festival and annual rodeo event includes multiple days of rodeo action, including a professional rodeo, carnival, and parade.
Cave Creek Rodeo Days
